Salesforce guide
In this section we'll run through how to work with the Salesforce data source and how you can customize your widgets to get your most important metrics on your dashboard
Add a widget and select Salesforce from the data sources list. Hit ‘Connect via Salesforce’ and this will send you to Salesforce to authorize the connection. From here you can continue to build and customize your widgets.
You are only able to share data from custom Salesforce reports in Geckoboard. These will need to be prepared in a way that can be understood by Geckoboard. Here’s a guide with more info on preparing Salesforce reports for Geckoboard.
If you have multiple Salesforce accounts that you’d like to connect to your dashboard, follow the steps below.
When you select the report you’d like to visualize your data from, you’ll move to a screen where you can customize the visualization type, give your widget a title, switch the axis and add a goal.
Here’s a quick run through of what’s possible with the Salesforce data source.
