Facebook guide
In this section we'll take you through how to work with the Facebook data source and how you can customize your widgets to get your most important metrics on your dashboard
Add a widget and select Facebook from the data sources list. Preview our list of pre-built widgets, select one and hit ‘Connect via Facebook’. You’ll need to be logged in to Facebook to authorize the connection.
If you have multiple Facebook accounts that you’d like to connect to your dashboard, follow steps below:
When you add a new widget and select the Facebook data source you’ll preview a list of available metrics, within each of these you’ll be able to break down the information further to get the data you’d like on your dashboard.
Take a look at the video below where we’ll take you through some of the ways to customize your Facebook widgets.
It’s worth noting that currently we are unable to create widgets to highlight the number of followers for a Facebook page.
Reporting boosted post performance
If you’d like to highlight the performance of a boosted post you’ll find that within our Facebook data source (not Facebook Ads) as this is considered a regular post (that’s been boosted) rather than an ad.
Add a new widget and select the Facebook data source, then from the list of pre-configured options choose Post Stats Number Widget. From here you will be able to select the specific boosted post from the Page Posts dropdown menu.
Sharing demographic information on your Facebook audience
To share demographic information about your Facebook audience select the Page Demographics Column Chart option when you add a new Facebook widget. It’s worth noting that if you have less than 100 individuals in a certain demographic it will show as 0 so this information is not traceable to individuals.
